Joseph (Joe) Patrick Donihee

Joseph “Joe” Patrick Donihee, born in 1913, played juvenile, junior, and senior hockey in the City League on many Championship teams. He played with the Holy Name juniors who were winners of the Citizen Shield.

He also played for Championship teams with Dovers, Canadian Legion, Cornwall Canadians, and C.C.V.S., and he attended Clarkson College of Technology on a hockey scholarship. Joe obtained varsity letters in hockey and tennis.

Joe played hockey with the unit team in London, Antwerp, Eindhosen, and The Hague.

He served overseas with the Canadian Army as a private and retired as a “Lt. Col.”

He died in 1980.
