Marie-Ange (Brisson) Fobert
Year Inducted: 1968
Marie-Ange Fobert, (nee Brisson), was born and educated in Cornwall.
She lived right on the banks of the St. Lawrence and began swimming at an early age.
She competed against the best swimmers of that era. Being a very strong swimmer, she conquered the mighty St. Lawrence, at its widest point on more than one occasion.
She still enjoys her daily swim and may be seen frequently with her grandchildren at the beach.
