Harvey Larin

Harvey Larin was born in Cornwall on February 13, 1895.
Although he has been inducted into the Hall of Fame for lacrosse, he was equally proficient at hockey.
His dual career began in Cornwall where he played for the junior, factory, and senior teams, which had such well-known players as the Degan and Denneny brothers.
Mr. Larin moved to Montreal and played for Vickers in the city league.
Before going overseas with the Canadian Army, he played for the Sons of England team for the Memorial Cup in 1917.
Mr. Larin led his lacrosse team to the armed services Championship.
Upon his return from overseas, he played both hockey and lacrosse for the Ives Bedding teams, and finished his active playing career playing semi-pro hockey in the USA.
