Archie MacDonald, born in 1915, was an outstanding golfer.
He started out as a caddy and went on to win the Championship of the Cornwall Club for 8 years, 1938, 39, 44, 45, 48, 50, 52, and 54.
Archie built a golf course of his own.
He was a star hockey and lacrosse player. He was also a trainer for a professional hockey club in the U.S.A. He was always a popular player and well-liked by his teammates.
