Rosemary Phillips, born in 1943, is one of Cornwall’s greatest golfers.
She was a junior Champion in 1956, and in 1957 was runner-up in Quebec Junior Girls Championship.
She won the 1959 ladies’ “A”-Class Championship with Don MacGregor as partner.
She played as member of the Quebec Junior Golf Team in Vancouver, and Winnipeg.
She won the 1962 Ladies’ “A”-Class Championship in Cornwall.
In Calgary, in 1965-66 she was a member of the New Mexico University Ladies’ golf team.
Her lowest round in Cornwall was a 75, even Par.
