James Garth Donihee, born in 1914, was a real athlete. He loved all sports.

He was a star at all sports, especially in hockey where he played juvenile, junior, and senior “B”.

Garth played on the famous Holy Name hockey team winning the Citizen Shield.

He played for Clarkson College where he graduated in 1936. He then attended and graduated from Queen’s University.

He later became a teacher at Cornwall Collegiate and was always a real gentleman and a great sportsman.

He died in 1948.
