A long time endurance athlete and river steward, Dave Merpaw began his career in 1994 by taking on the Ultra Ironman Endurance Event.
Participated in World Championship events as the only Canadian representative in nine countries across the world.
Re-invented himself as a long distance river swimmer and has swam to raise awareness for the state of the worlds rivers.
