George Esper, born in 1892, was known as one of Cornwall’s big three. When Esper, Carra, and Rubino were playing at Stanford and Kennedy’s Bowling Alley, they filled the Alley with spectators.
George bowled 10 pin bowling for 30 years. He won many Cups and Championships.
He loved his hockey and lacrosse, and never missed a wrestling match.
George passed away in March in 1969. Cornwall lost one of its greatest sportsmen.
