Guy Smith

Year Inducted: 1974-5
Immediately after World War I and on into the 1920’s, Guy Smith was an outstanding defenseman with the Cornwall Senior Colts in the OHA.
His coach, John Denneny would also use him on the front line.
He was lured to Hamilton where he starred for several more years with the Hamilton Tigers in the OHA.
Upon retirement, he took up refereeing in the OHA.
Guy died while traveling to Toronto to a Grey Cup game.
