Induction Year – 2024
Carol Ann spent the better part of her life with a golf club in hand. In 1993 she joined the PGA of Canada and became an assistant golf professional at the Cornwall Golf and Country Club. By 1994 she qualified and joined the LPGA and started competing on the Futures Tour, du Maurier Series, and the Moonlight tour based out of Florida. She is now a proud “Life Member” of the LPGA. She has been the head professional at the Cornwall Golf & Country Club, Regional Director – Ottawa & Outaouais Region with the Canadian Golf Course Owners Association and Manager of the Ottawa-Gatineau GolfEXPO. In 1999 Carol Ann purchased Archie’s Family Golf Centre and has operated the business ever since. In her role as Teaching Professional she has introduced the game to tens of thousands of students, with a particular focus on fostering junior and women’s programming. She is currently Regional Manager – Ottawa Region with Golf Ontario and Executive Director of the PGA of Canada Ottawa Zone. Carol Ann is a champion of the game and the business of golf and has been a regular contributor to Canada Golf Business Magazine, Flagstick Magazine, Flagstick Golf for Women, and Sports Energy News.
