Marcus “Mark” Cummins, born 1893, was one of Cornwall’s greats in lacrosse.
He played for teams known as the Rovers, the Irish Canadians, and Cornwall’s Great 1912 Team.
Mark was a rugged, tough player who played in the Big Four for years, Cornwall, Nationals, Tecumsehs, and Shamrocks.
Mark also played baseball. He came from a lacrosse family with Frank, Mike, and Bernie, all outstanding players.
He died in 1973.
