Roy (Hun) Dupuis

Roy “Hun” Dupuis, born in 1910, was a strong and rugged player.
A very fast skater who possessed a wicked shot, he was known for his end to end rushes.
Hun advanced through the Cornwall ranks and turned pro with the New York Rovers and Baltimore Orioles for three years; he then went to the Eastern Canada League with Glace Bay.
His career next proceeded to Verdun in the Quebec Senior League and he finished in Cornwall playing on several Championship teams.
He was considered one of the finest skaters on the ice and the fans loved his speed.
Hun also played lacrosse and softball. He died November 22, 1988.
