Ralph B. (Baldy) Gault

Ralph B. Gault, born 1915, better known as “Baldy”, played in organized ball leagues for 28 years.
He started out in 1929, at the age of 13, when softball arrived in Cornwall. He was a pitcher, and played on many Championship teams, such as the Holy Name, H.S.P.M, and S. D. & G. Highlanders.
He pitched in the Old City League, Nativity League, and North-End League. He also played with the Canadian Army Team in England.
Baldy is also recognized for his hockey playing ability, and track and field endeavours.
He died in 2001.
