Guy Henri

Guy Henri’s hockey career started with Cornwall minor hockey that covered the OCOT program, CCVS junior school team and junior hockey of the Cornwall City League.
Guy joined the Cornwall Calumets of the Eastern Canada Senior Hockey League at the age of 17. The Calumets easily won the league Championship and advanced to the Allan Cup Playdown.
The following year Guy joined the Stratford Krohlers Junior Hockey Club of the OHA and competed against such stars as Alex Delveccio, Glen Hall, Bob Pulford, and Andy Bathgate. Rudy Pilous was coach. The following season, Guy’s contract was sold to the Guelph Biltmore’s but he chose to return to Cornwall and the Calumets.
For the next seven years, Guy continued his hockey career locally with the Colts and Chevies, under coach Frank Mario.
