Roscoe (Curly) Lane

Roscoe “Curly” Lane, born in 1901, was a big, strong, fast skating defenceman.
Curly played on Cornwall’s great junior team in the OHA defeating Brockville, Kingston, Belleville, Delascelle and Auralee of Toronto.
Curly was offered a contract with the New York Rangers.
He was an outstanding baseball player and a polished, smart boxer; he was also a speed boat enthusiast.
